Environmental solutions for a respectful attitude to the environment

We focus very close­ly on sus­tain­able resource man­age­ment, invest­ing in new dri­ve tech­nolo­gies for our vehi­cle fleet and test­ing them for their ener­gy bal­ance and prac­ti­cal­i­ty. In addi­tion, we uti­lize sys­tems to con­stant­ly opti­mize our deliv­ery routes in an attempt to achieve the great­est pos­si­ble con­sol­i­da­tion or com­bi­na­tion of indi­vid­ual groups of goods, tak­ing account of the legal frame­work and cus­tomer require­ments. We are engaged in a joint quest with our ser­vice part­ners for ren­o­va­tion oppor­tu­ni­ties in the area of real estate man­age­ment that save ener­gy and resources, and are plan­ning sus­tain­able new con­struc­tion projects. The 7Days Group has set itself the goal of mak­ing logis­tics green­er.

We aim to min­i­mize our envi­ron­men­tal impacts by reduc­ing ener­gy and resource con­sump­tion as well as emis­sions. All the com­pa­nies in the 7Days Group are called upon to mea­sure their eco­log­i­cal foot­print and iden­ti­fy their key envi­ron­men­tal impacts so that they can then devel­op resource-effi­cien­cy and emis­sion-reduc­tion mea­sures.

Promoting a circular economy

We focus on design­ing solu­tions and ser­vices in the most sus­tain­able way pos­si­ble for our cus­tomers, with the aim of min­i­miz­ing waste prod­ucts and pro­mot­ing recy­cling and reuse. We help our cus­tomers to opti­mize their sup­ply chains so that they can use more sus­tain­able mate­ri­als and pro­duc­tion meth­ods. We do this by sup­port­ing the return of mate­ri­als to the recy­cling cycle, there­by min­i­miz­ing the use of dis­pos­able pack­ag­ing.
